Blake:

loves everything related to jumping. He hops around the house and loves to jump on pillows and even the couch when we're not looking. Heck he even tried jumping off the couch (onto pillows at least) before we could stop him. He has spurts in the evening where he seems like he's pretty much jumping off the walls.
had a growth spurt. His appetite has picked up and we measured his length to be 35" and his weight has finally started going up again. He's up somewhere around 27 lb depending on what time of day, so that is a good thing that he's finally growing again!
can turn off light switches without standing on a stool. He can only reach the bottom of the rocker switches we have in the house, even on his tip toes, which isn't very helpful when I'm in the kitchen and he decides to turn the lights off while I'm making food.
is brave enough to be around fans again. He has gone through a long phase where he freaked out if a fan (ceiling or other) was on when he was around, and he'd avoid the room like the plague. He's finally decided that they're ok again and he'll request that we turn it on for him. He likes to say that he needs it on because he's hot and he needs it to cool him down. (Either he is a good parrot or he actually understands the concept... yet to be determined.)
requests the Happy song by Pharell Williams every time we get in the car or open the laptop in the living room. He even told me in the car that it was his "favorite song" ("Mommy, this my favorite song" until we heard the next song that he liked and he claimed "Mommy, THIS my favorite song"). It cracks me up when he throws these new sentences out there that totally make sense but he's never mentioned the concept before.
constantly asks "What are you doin Mom?" when he feels the need to communicate (which is the vast majority of the time). If he has nothing else to talk about he starts asking how people are doing and what they're doing. He really is such a social little butterfly, and gone are the days of being shy, he'll go up and talk to almost anyone. He much prefers adults since he knows kids will rarely respond to his attempts to communicate.
request his blanket in bed. We've been trying forever to get him to use a blanket in bed (especially during this long, cold winter). Now that the weather is warming up considerably, he has decided that he wants me to put a blanket over him before I leave the room for his naps and at night. Sadly, the only blankets we have in his crib right now that are big enough to cover him are either fleece or a crocheted blanket I made him (which is only slightly cooler).
knows the different between boys and girls. At first he would call everyone a little boy, then once I started correcting him for the little girls, he just picked it up. Now he seems to do a pretty good job of separating the girls from boys. Although, he still calls all little boys Logan since he has 2 friends with that name.
finally got switched to forward facing in the car and he absolutely loves it. He can see so many new things and loves telling me if the lights are red or green and that red means stop and green means go. He points out everything he recognizes... yea it's pretty much another outlet for him to constantly talk my ear off. <3

He loves hanging out in his crib after he wakes up from his nap now. He has me go and get books and toys for him to play with and asks me to open the curtains and the blinds... very demanding child. Oh and he says "cheese" for pictures now and you can pretty much tell when he says it (first example below).
