Brett loves playing baseball with Daddy as pitcher. He's really got a good swing so I could see t-ball in his future.
We've had so many great days to spend outside this spring so far!

I used to see clouds like this in Florida all the time, but they're much less common in Ohio.
We were so proud of (and a bit nervous for) Blake for climbing all the way to the top pedestal!
We got to go explore a natural wood playground up in Lebanon and the boys had a great time. Again, we're so happy to be able to enjoy all the outside time here in Ohio. We would've never been able to do activities like these in Florida with the awful humidity and bugs.
Blake brought home some "nature" to do "Still Lives" with.
Back to Armco Park the next day with our friends the Burroughs.
Fresh homemade french bread is the best.
Couldn't be happier with the amazing weather this spring.
Blake told me he was going to sleep like a horse, so I had to dig to find this book to ask him if this is what he was talking about... and of course it was. His sense of humor is great.

It makes my heart happy to see them happy playing even though it rarely lasts more than a minute or two.

And my big boy. He needed a picture of the 2 of us for something we're doing for Mother's Day at his preschool and Brett wouldn't let us take one until he had one of his own. And he still managed to photobomb us.

It turned out to be a super windy day on Easter so we got to use our new Easter kites right away!

Back to the library for a program on Nature this time. The boys got to inspect different types of seeds,
look at a bunch of leaves and things under a magnifying glass,
and make flowers!
And then we planted our own container garden on our front porch! We're growing orange bell peppers, carrots, and 2 types of tomatoes. Later we added zucchini, cucumbers, and cilantro (while we try to find yellow bell peppers).
We repurposed our old dishwasher silverware holder for art, of course!
Spent a nice morning out at the park taking a long walk around the pond and playing on the playground, for Chris's birthday.
The boys were playing Hi Ho Cherry-O so nicely that I had to sneak a picture.
These clouds were so crazy looking.
I finally got my haircut in Ohio! The lady kept telling me how much hair she was cutting off and then this was all I saw when I got down off the chair... Maybe it would've been more impressive in a pile.
The boys finally had their first visit to the dentist. They both did great and everything went well! They started by brushing their teeth.
Then had their teeth counted, polished, and flossed.
Then they got pencils and balloon animals for doing such a great job! So much more exciting than when we were little.
