December {2019} Cell Phone Pics

It's so fun that we are able to fill up the tree with mostly handmade and custom ornaments now.

I love looking at all the ornaments we've acquired through the years.

It had been so long since I went grocery shopping, once it was bagged it didn't fit in 1 cart anymore. It filled up 2 somehow!

This used to be Grandmom's tree, and it feels nice to have it as part of our Christmas decorations now. It makes me think of her and smile. =)

Blake made this beautiful artwork in school last year, so it was great to get to enjoy it this holiday season.

We got our first real snowfall and it was so pretty.

Since the last snow came and melted so quickly, we made sure to get outside and enjoy it this time before it went away. After school, Brett and I got to go outside and sled and even invited some friends over to play with us. This was the snowman Brett made while I was getting all geared up inside.

We're so glad Brett's friend, Peyton, was able to come play!

We made a much bigger snowman too.

And apparently we have deer close, because one just walked right through our backyard.

Sadly one of the trees in our front yard fell partially over. I'm guessing the ground just got saturated from all the rain and snow we had.

I got to go help with Brett's winter celebration at school and he was so happy to be able to share it with me.

Group shot of Brett with his teacher and classmates.

Our yearly tradition of going to the PNC Festival of Lights at the zoo.

Another tradition, making cookies on Christmas Eve. This year we tried icing and they were really tasty!

Santa snacks.

The aftermath of Christmas morning.

The boys said this was the best Christmas ever. Santa got them Big Joes (bean bag chairs), Pokemon cards, and stockings full of fun things. It was a very big Pokemon Christmas!

Their other favorite thing to try out immediately was the Nintendo Switch.

We're so glad Mimi was able to be with us on Christmas. The boys love having her!

Our living room with decorations.

The boys have gotten so much enjoyment out of their Pokemon Super Deluxe Essential Handbook.

"The safest house in the world."

A couple of boys and their Big Joes.

Brett has really gotten a lot of use out of his Pokemon perler bead book.
