Then we moved onto sledding. Good thing we picked up another sled at the end of season clearance sale. These are so nice to sled on. The only thing they're missing is a rope to pull them back up the hill.

24 hour snow totals. It has been quite a month for snow.

My new crochet pattern for a blanket. It is so cool looking, and super soft!

Blake declared a crayon party so we got out all the crayons we have. It took longer to get them out and put them away than the party itself lasted.

This seemed cute for a few mins until the fighting began.

The block towers are getting quite elaborate!

We finally made the trip up to Columbus to go to the COSI museum and it was so much fun! When we got there the line was well over 100 people long but luckily it didn't take too long to get in. This was the boys trying to fix the power grid and restore power to all the neighborhoods.

Blake wasn't overly excited about the place until we found the water area. This one was actually low enough for Brett to play in without stools. It's crazy how high most of them are at other children's museums.

Legos are always a hit with this one.

Blake couldn't wait to get to the gadgets section. We found some gears on our way. There were activities all along the hallway that were highlighting how circle shaped tools have helped our civilization.

This setup was huge!

You have to throw a ball into the close cone and then launch it to the other wall where it goes down and around all those other tubes.

Small building foam blocks.

They were hard to build with, so we made art instead.

This water section had so many activities that the boys loved. It was incredibly elaborate and well designed.

The other side of the water exhibit had a real submarine that you could go inside of.

The boys were so excited to go in it!

It was incredibly tiny but I went in to help Brett climb down. I couldn't get out fast enough.

We went to a Magic School Bus program at the library and the topic was "Creepy Crawlies".

This year we made a bunny cake just like I remember my mom doing every year when I was growing up. The boys loved decorating it (amid fighting over who was going to decorate what and how).

I'm sure you can guess who decorated which ear. (Symmetrical vs. get as much sugar loaded onto this cake as possible)

We went to Cottell Park for a very muddy Easter Egg hunt. It had been raining for like a week and the clouds finally parted for Easter eve.

A chilly and very muddy morning, but the boys had fun grabbing as many eggs as possible.

Then we went back to another egg hunt hosted by our apartment complex. It wasn't nearly as good since there weren't as many eggs and the kids were bigger. We were dressed for a completely different season this year, than last.

Blake got a few at least. Brett didn't want to pose for the pic with the 2 or 3 eggs he got. (We're now going to work on smiles.)

Then we moved onto egg dying which is always a mess waiting to happen. We decided to do it in the garage because we don't have a big enough area inside with a hard floor (only carpets which is a terrible idea with dye) and it was a bit too windy and cold to be outside. This actually worked out great!

We used the plastic whisk type egg dippers this year and they were great! No more rolling off the little wire dipper and splashing and cracking in the dye cups. Chris even had to try and get the perfect color egg.
