Our first fishing trip didn't go so well. They boys weren't thrilled when they realized this is not an instant gratification type of event.

A little game of sort all the random toys in the house turned into a great little I Spy game.
This pot has changed a lot since the beginning. We lost the cilantro and cucumber plants, then added sunflowers temporarily, and now they've moved to a new pot (once the bell pepper plant got sick I moved the sunflowers to that pot instead).
This is how I've been keeping cilantro in the fridge and it keeps for a couple weeks. It's wonderful!
Such a cool sprinker at our friend's house! It's a clown head and when the water turns on, the hat flies up into the air and spins around on the stream of water. Blake thought it was amazing.

The boys took a summer camp craft class at Michaels and they learned how to make art with glue and salt and water colors (and embellishments). It was so cool!
We just had to make more at home and I was excited to try it out too!

Just a handful of our cherry tomatoes. We've been getting a constant supply now that they finally started turning red. Now what else can you do with them other than salads?
We found this map of the US for $1 and the boys are loving looking at it and talking about all the road trips they want to take. I'm so excited to share my love of maps with them!!
We planted new cucumber plants because our other ones were destroyed by cucumber beetles before I could figure out what the problem was. These appear to be doing much better than the first round. Hopefully we get some fruit soon! The bottom was the day we planted it and the top is 23 days later!

I had to take a peek and see how our carrots were doing. They're so long on top but apparently not doing so well on the growing downward part.
They enjoyed mixing the playdoh colors together.
