August {2019} Cell Phone Pics

My little builder, doing his first lego build by himself.

He made it quite a few steps before getting "tired" and having to stop. Not bad tho!

Climbing at Danielle's birthday party.

Blake is the only one who wanted to take a picture with me when we went out to dinner for my birthday at Outback.

We had quite a few days of Florida heat or hotter this month.

Loved having my mom come visit! She cooked me up lots of yummy seafood for my birthday week.

And we had a lot of fun pool time with TeeTee in town.

And a group of my dance girlfriends got together at a brewery to celebrate August birthdays. Such a fun group!

#4 was my favorite from my flight, but surprisingly they were all good!

It's been a while since we made it down to Smale Park, but it's always nice and refreshing to get in the cool water on a warm day. The water features were broken so Blake was bummed.

So we had some snacks.

Then headed home and made the rest of the day a pool day that everyone loved.

Brett was so excited to go to the birthday party of his "girlfriend". I guess all the boys were paired off with girls from their preschool class last year, so Brett chose Amelia. They are so adorable together. They still get to see each other at recess in Kindergarten which makes his day much happier.

She's a tough girl who likes to pick him up, haha.

The cherry tomato plants are doing amazing!

Brotherly love.

Brett found his favorite place to sit in his new classroom at orientation, the rocking chair.

At the planetarium at the Boonshoft Museum.

Lego pickaxes of course.

And the biggest tower!

Family pool day.

Garden update. The golden jubilees doing well.

Orange snacking peppers.

More cherry tomatoes.

Squash has been a mess since the powdery mildew took over.

I got to go and have lunch with my Blakers.

Our resident chipmunk that lives under the back patio.

The books we read to Brett on the nights leading up to his first day of Kindergarten.

He had a great first day!

Just thought it was interesting how peppers go from green to orange.

Enjoying a nice day at the park.

Riding the train at the zoo.

Blake's "All About Me" for his special week at school.

So many colors to choose from for the exterior house trim.
