July {2018} Cell Phone Pics

Just one of the many car loads full of stuff as we moved to the new house.

The cucumber plant loved it's spot under the covered front porch, I was scared to attempt to move it.

A final pic of the plants before they got moved to the new house.

We had some crazy storms come though and the road just outside of our apartment complex has such a great vantage point.

Just some of the handfuls of cucumbers that we've gotten this year!

This vine was quite the show off.

First car load of plants in the Rav had the 2 tomato plants, and pepper plant on the floor of the back seats.

Then the marigolds, sunflowers, carrots, and strawberries in the back.

A view of the backseat from the rear door. Hello pepper plant.

I didn't get a picture of the squash plant because Chris and his dad loaded it up in the dark, but the cucumber fit surprisingly well. It collapsed down to nothing.

Bringing my last plant baby to the new house (and hoping none of the pollinators had hitched a ride).

The plants were the last thing to get moved so this was goodbye!

First course of action was to get the living room set up so we could feel at home.

We had to have help cleaning up all the weeds that had taken over the house, but it sure looked great to have to all cleaned and trimmed up!

All the plants in their new home. It was crazy hot out there for the first couple weeks and no shade so the cucumbers had a rough time adjusting.

But apparently there was one hiding under the leaves and it grew a lot larger than the others, woops.

Tomatoes finally ripening!

It is so exciting to go out and pick fruit for a fresh salad! The Golden Jubilee tomatoes are amazing!

My "baby" will apparently still let me carry him if he's tired enough (and this has been the summer of not enough sleep...).

The boys working on their art in the new "craft room". We finally have room to set up this table after it has been stored for the past few years. I'm glad we kept it and didn't end up selling it!

You guys... this garage is insanely large. It is the best.

We finally got our pool key after a lot of work.

The boys played in the kiddie pool because Brett wasn't ready to try the big pool just yet.

I'm loving having a giant kitchen island to make a mess and cook with.

Blake's sunflower is getting close to blooming and it is just about as tall as he is. Once it blooms it'll be over his head for sure.

The cucumbers are just out of controls.

We decided to try making pickles with the extras. They weren't bad, but I'll have to try some different variations before I make too many more.

The peppers finally started turning orange!

The first pepper tasted like dirt, but the rest have been great!

Sidewalk chalk pictionary.

TeeTee came to visit and see our new house!

The sunflower field was very busy.

The boys loved having TeeTee in the pool with them.

I got a spiralizer for my birthday and it is so fun!

Plant updates. Peppers.

Cherry tomatoes.

Golden Jubilee tomatoes

Cucumbers and wax beans

Zucchini and yellow squash

The new tower at Summit Park is open and offers a great view.

The floor tiles were wobbly so we didn't stay up there long.

My lunch for the past few days. I just grab whatever is ripe.

The "blue room" is officially not blue anymore, woohoo!

I finally rigged up something so the cucumbers could grow vertically again and they're much happier.
