We got to try these from our favorite foodie store, Jumgle Jims, and they were amazing! When we went back to get more, they were gone for the year. So sad!
Stage 1 of our gingerbread houses made with graham crackers. We made our own royal icing and it was like cement for sure. It was perfect for building, but not great for eating.

Brett really got into crafting this year and he made a ton of these little snowman ornaments for the tree.
Blake likes creating documents on the computer and this time he came up with and spelled a whole sentence on his own (I think I only helped him with one or 2 words) and he told Brett which letters to type.

Brett made this plane out of straws and connectors and he even gave it 4 wheels. I thought it was so creative how he made it and then figured out a way to fly around with himself in it!
Brett's Christmas party at school. First they had their cookie, which they got to spread icing on with a popsicle stick.
Then they played Bingo.
Then went fishing for candy canes.
And then finished up with a Christmas story.
Then Blake had his Winter party at his school and first up they did pin the nose on the snowman.
And everyone got to color a big poster. Brett even got in on the action.
Blake was so happy that we all got to be there with him for his party... even Daddy came!
Next he made a craft which was a snowflake/snowman ornament with his school picture on it.
We went to the PNC Festival of Lights again at the zoo and it was really crowded and too dark to take a good picture so this was all we got. We picked a night where the temperatures were in the 40s so it really wasn't bad at all!

On Christmas Eve, we went out to a Japanese Steak House for Eric's birthday and Blake got to help make the big giant flame right at the beginning of the cooking experience. Brett and Beckett were worried the rest of the night that there was going to be another fire.

TeeTee brought Blake a loom for Christmas and he put her right to work pulling the slack with each pass.
He is definitely my son. <3
Brett loved having TeeTee read him some stories.
We're so glad TeeTee got to visit us for Christmas and we're so glad she made it back home safely. Driving 8 hours in the snow is too stressful though so it will probably be the only time she's able to come this time of year.

Family snow day fun! We got a chance to go out and play before the temperatures plummeted into the single digits thankfully. Blake and I had a blast sledding down the hill in our backyard and poor Chris hit a rock in the cheap plastic sled and got injured. Brett just doesn't like being cold so he collected his snow, made one or two trips down the hill and called it quits.
