Brett has been building some really cool things with his straw builders.
This tower was taller than him!
Brett really wanted to help Daddy fix the broken computer.
Our pumpkins lasted a few days at least.
We added a border of all the letters and the boys, especially Brett, enjoy having it as a reference.
Blake learned a new art technique at school and wanted to teach me how it worked.
I attempted a homemade Chicago style pizza and it was really good. It was a little different than the kind we loved in Chicago but with a few changes it has a lot of potential, and I was so happy to again have no heartburn!
A quick snap of Brett's school picture.
Brett and I playing with Instagram filters while the workers were installing the granite in our house.
The old and new countertops in the kitchen.
We had to camp out in the living room because the smell of the glue from granite installation in the upstairs bathrooms made it uninhabitable up there the first couple nights.
Grandmom got in here exercise when we went to visit her while we were in Tennessee. The boys loved getting a ride on her walker. They each took many trips around the whole house like this.
Grandmom and her great grandbabies.
Memommy and 2 of her great grandbabies.
The boys love spending time with their girl cousins and they get along so well. We all went to Rock City during the day this time and had a wonderful time in the beautiful weather.
Getting ready to cross the wobbly bridge.
The view from the top of Signal Mountain. Those people are standing in a spot where you can supposedly see 7 states on a clear day.
The fall colors were mostly gone by Thanksgiving sadly.
Blake trying to get a closer look.
One of the highlights of the visit was a walk through Fat Man Squeeze (or Batman Squeeze as Brett kept calling it jokingly).
Brett was not interested in a family picture, and I really wanted one.
Such a cool place to explore!
Brett and Breelyn look like they could be siblings.
Our best family shot of the day, and we even got a few fall colors!
Out to dinner with the crew.
Brett making his way on the monkey bars at the Children's Discovery Museum for Kynli's birthday.
Blake doing a little snowboarding.
Making birthday crowns in Kynli's party room.
Then time for lunch.
Brett making picture out of shapes. He's so talented at spacial things like puzzles.
Our Christmas tree was up right after Thanksgiving this year. The boys are incredibly excited, and Brett likes to have the lights on every moment that we're home. It is so fun to collect new ornaments each year to add to our colorful tree.
