The Zoo and The Beach

Blake has been to the zoo a couple times now and he's starting to recognize the animals more each time we go. If he recognizes them he'll point to them and smile (and say "ck" which is his word for everything at the moment). Most of the animals don't move enough to entertain him but a few will catch his attention.

We ran into some friends at the zoo that took our pic for us!

These birds love people and are a beautiful royal blue color from the front. I couldn't get him to turn around though.

The orangutans are always great fun to watch. The big one was sleeping and the other two were putting on clothes and swinging around. They even had a little cat fight (I overheard someone say the little ones are sisters).

We took a trip to downtown Clearwater to visit a really big natural foods store. Since we were close to the beach we stopped by for a bit. It was nice and overcast for most of our visit but the sun came out as we were headed back to the car. Blake had a blast walking around and exploring the sand and even the water.

Blake loves the birds and he was doing great walking really fast in the sand. He really only tripped when he stepped in a big person's footprint.

He did much better in the water this time even though it was really cold.

He just kept wanting to walk further out and even sit down. Next time we'll actually bring his swim trunks.
