July {2015} Cell Phone Pics

Blake climbing high at the Glazer Children's Museum.

And from the other side. I love the silhouette look.

Brett found a lot to keep him entertained as well. Here he is shopping at Publix.

And Blake playing in the water.

We went out to Honeymoon Island for the 4th of July and the boys had a good time playing in the sand.

There were tons of beautiful storm clouds in the distance. I keep saying that one of these days I'll get a good picture of some lightning. Until then, it will remain on my bucket list.

Brett playing in the water

He loves wearing Blake's hat.

And once we got in the car to head home at 8:19PM you can see what the temperature was. Blah.

Blake and his new toddler bed.

The boys making some "soup". Since we play this so much, Brett will put spoons up to anyone's face so you can pretend to taste something. You have to say nom-nom-nom or he'll keep poking you in the mouth with a spoon or spatula.

The baby blankets that I made for the boys. Blake's is already so worn looking... it's hard to believe it looked like this at one point. I'm glad it's gotten lots of good use though since it took so long to make!

Blake getting his allergy test done. He had to sit on Daddy for 20 minutes without touching his back and then it turned out that the only thing he reacted to was peanuts (and the histamine - top right).

Both boys in the same gown, with the same look of terror.

Trying to decide if Brett and Vernon looked alike at 8 months.

One of my favorite quick dinners: Eggs over easy on top of rice, peas, and avocados.

Camp out in Blake's room.

Three bumps on a log.

This kid will climb anything.

It has been raining almost all month so one day we just put the water table in the driveway and got all wet.

Monkey see, monkey do.

My second try at roasting a chicken and it was so so good! The chicken broth and chicken soup I made from the bones were amazing too.

With the help of some friends, we found a new part of Honeymoon Island that is so awesome! It has a little patch of sand surrounded by a little river of water at low tide and it's perfect for the boys to play in. This is our friend Chase in the water.

Chris's Grandmom fractured her arm in a couple places so since we couldn't visit her in the hospital, we decided to make her a card. Blake did such a great job decorating it! First he traced each of the letters, then added lots of stickers. And we had to try and add in Brett for moral support haha.

A close up of the finished product.

This was our traveling circus while we got my oil changed one day and had a couple hours to kill.

We've had some crazy storms roll through this month (just about every day, and some all day long) but this was so ominous looking as we drove into it and I had to stop and take a pic.

These boys are such snugglers. They both love to be touching someone all the time.

The rain filled up the water table twice in 24 hours.

I never would've believed this was possible. Apparently this is what happens at lunch when he misses his morning nap and he and Blake play out in the water table in the rain all morning.
